What to bring if Traveling to China

Updated: Mar 1

I will be traveling to China this summer, it has been confirmed by my parents and family.

Image taken while on Plane in China back in 2019. Description: A beautiful view of clouds form airplane's wing.

Here is a list of what I usually bring if I go on vacation:

  1. Phone (this one is pretty obvious)

  2. Passport and ID, wallet

  3. Chargers

  4. shampoo and conditioner (travel size), beach towel, toothbrush, toothpaste (travel size), bug spray (travel size), small comb,

  5. Summer clothes (leggings, shorts, pants, t-shirts etc)

  6. a non-puffy coat

  7. a raincoat

  8. 1-2 Sun coats (China has a lot of those, you can buy one of those if you get there too, they are a type of clothing that exists that is sunproof.)

  9. 1 pair of shoes for walking a lot, sandals, any shoes that don't require socks, flip flops or slippers for hotels

  10. 4 pairs of socks

  11. swimsuit, goggles, (some hotels do have swimming pools).

  12. Genshin Xiao Luggage Tag (haha), Genshin Raiden Sleeping mask

  13. super small can of dry shampoo

  14. 2 pairs of earbuds, one Bluetooth, another wired for airplanes (It is better to use your headphones than there's.

  15. 1-2 hoodies

  16. Laptop and charger (Maybe to play genshin?)

  17. Fans (Fabric fans those that last long or mini electro hand-held fans) It is very hot in a lot of the regions and sometimes the air conditioner doesn't work, remember my dad had to call the front desk one time.

  18. Tylenol or some kind of cold/flu medicine in case you get sick, or something that treats motion sickness

  19. snacks (candy, gummies, and potato chips are fine, no meat, veggies, or fruits though), Cup Ramen (plane food tastes horrible, they have hot water to cook your ramen)

Before boarding: Don't have pins on your bag. Remove all pins or sharp stuff from your bag. For example, those Kpop pins and Genshin pins I have will be left at home to avoid losing them before boarding the flight. Also, keep shampoo sprays in your luggage.

When on an airplane wear something long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. I also am not a fan of airplane food, so I suggest you buy some ramen before boarding the plane, it's allowed.
